NIX Platform is extremely excited to announce that we have added Dr. Sriram Vishwanath, a professor in the University of Texas at Austin Electrical and Computer Engineering department, to our advisory team.
Dr. Sriram’s background is mainly in the electrical engineering field, receiving his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras; his M.S. from CalTech and his Ph.D. from Stanford University, all in the same area. His research expands from information theory and wireless communications to coding theory. This clearly adds a lot of value to NIX Platform path regarding research and development.
He has played different roles in many startups, going from Chief Instigator, CEO, CTO to VP of Engineering; with true readiness to occupy any required position for the benefit of startups. GenXComm, Accordion Health and Lynx Laboratories are some of the projects that he has been part of as consultor.
His work, dedication and vocation throughout his profession have allowed him to win a NSF CAREER Award at the Lucent Bell labs, NJ, and the IEEE Joint IT/Comsoc Best Paper Award.
Dr. Sriram’s previous and continued ventures into blockchain development and research will benefit relations and technical advances within the NIX eco-system. We are certain that having Dr. Sriram as advisor will be of great value for NIX Platform and its community, as he shares our passion for decentralization and the developments NIX is working on achieving.
